Kavir National Park in Tehran known for its wildlife viewing

Posted 1 year ago by avatar eduardo in response to avatar hans's question: any wildlife refuges in Tehran? (give a different answer) .

The park is located south of Tehran and it sits on the west of one of Iran's two major deserts, the Dasht-e Kavir and Siahkuh (Black Mountain).
Beautiful landscapes comprise views of the desert and steppes and is known as 'Little Africa' for its wildlife including native goats, sheep, hyenas, wolves, gazelles, leopards, the rare Asiatic Cheetah, and the Persian Panther.
